Bruce graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Miami University, Oxford Ohio. After earning his bachelor’s degree in Accounting, he received a Masters in Executive Management (MBA) from Ashland University. Bruce has his Series 6 and 65 securities licenses as well as a Life, Health & Variable Insurance License.
Bruce was Vice President of Human Resources for Nordson Corporation for 21 years. He has extensive experience with both qualified and non-qualified retirement plans, as well as employee life and health insurance programs. One of the parts of his career he enjoyed most was counseling employees on their career and retirement choices. He uses his broad experience with all aspects of business and life, as well as having to prepare his own financial retirement plan, when advising his clients.
Bruce has been married to his wife Diann for 43 years and has two children. He works with his son Kevin at Fields Financial Planning. Bruce’s daughter Jennifer and his son-in-law own a veterinary medicine practice in St Louis. Bruce is a “professional grandfather” to his three grandchildren and previously worked as a part-time business consultant focusing on succession planning and negotiating the purchase or sale of small businesses.
