Kevin Fields is a Financial Planner and the founder of Fields Financial Planning, an independent, family firm located in Westerville, Ohio. As an investment advisor representative, a licensed attorney, a licensed insurance professional, and a Retirement Income Certified Professional®, he offers a unique combination of skills and experience to assist clients in achieving their financial goals.
Kevin helps individuals, families, and small businesses by collaborating with them in a comprehensive financial planning process, focusing on specific areas including retirement income planning, Social Security and pension decision analysis, investment management, health care and long-term care planning, as well as insurance, tax, and financial estate planning. His philosophy is simple – Plan First: A goal without a plan is simply a wish.
As an independent advisor, Kevin is committed to acting in the best interests of his clients and making recommendations based solely on their individual circumstances. His independent business structure allows him to offer a wide variety investments, products, and services without being bound to the sales quotas or limitations of any specific investment or insurance company. Kevin takes his role as a fiduciary very seriously and seeks to build plans that are specifically tailored to accomplish the unique objectives of each client.
Kevin graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from The Ohio State University. After earning his bachelor’s degree, he attended law school at Thomas Jefferson School of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctor degree summa cum laude. As a financial professional, he maintains his Series 6, 63, and 65 licenses, as well as a Life, Health & Variable Insurance License. Kevin has also earned the Retirement Income Certified Professional® designation from The American College of Financial Services by completing the most comprehensive program available to financial planners seeking to help clients create sustainable retirement income.
In addition to his most important jobs as a husband and father to two young sons, Kevin volunteers his time to speak in the community on a range of financial topics as an Ambassador and Advisory Board Member of The Financial Awareness Foundation. His passion is educating individuals on financial matters and simplifying complex subjects so they have the tools necessary to improve their own unique financial circumstances.
